We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join the IT infrastructure team of one of our clients, a well-established healthcare provider based in the Zurich area. If you enjoy challenging technical work and appreciate the stability that comes with supporting essential services, this could be a great fit!
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments, including NAC, WLAN controllers, and data center connectivity with external providers.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize firewalls (both internal and external) to ensure system security and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Keep the infrastructure up to date through updates, upgrades, and hardware/software replacements.
Requirements
- A strong educational background in IT, ideally with a focus on networks and security.
- Solid hands-on experience managing complex network infrastructures.
- Proven expertise in firewall administration and network security concepts.
- A proactive mindset: you're someone who spots issues before they escalate.
- An ownership mentality: you take responsibility and deliver reliable solutions.
- Native proficiency in German and a good level of English
