Senior Java Engineer | Payments Reporting | Wholesale Banking

Join our Payments Reporting team as a Senior Java Engineer and contribute to designing, developing, testing, and strengthening our reporting platform. You'll work in a high-impact area where your solutions help wholesale banking customers receive fast, reliable, and customer-centric reporting.

You will be part of the Wholesale Banking Payments Tribe, working within the Reporting area. Our mission is to create fast, scalable, and customer-focused reporting solutions. You'll design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions that collect transactions, generate reports, and distribute them through multiple channels.

You will work in a dynamic Scrum environment with two-week sprints and embrace a full DevOps approach, including iterative development and milestone reviews with stakeholders. This role gives you the opportunity to shape our reporting platform while collaborating with business stakeholders across the bank.

You bring:

• 8+ years professional Java experience (Java 17+)

• Strong skills in design, development, testing, and delivery of software solutions

• Proficiency in Git and Maven

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/JDBC

• Knowledge of unit and integration testing

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a good understanding of relational databases

• Stakeholder management and mentoring/coaching skills

• Proactive, hands-on attitude and excellent communication skills

• Strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering end-to-end solutions
