We are seeking a talented and development-oriented DevOps Engineer to join the team and take ownership of bridging the gap between software development and operations. This role focuses on building and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes that support efficient development workflows. With a strong foundation in software engineering practices, the position plays a key role in enabling teams to build, test, and deploy high-quality code at scale.

We are seeking a talented and development-oriented DevOps Engineer to join the team and take ownership of bridging the gap between software development and operations. This role focuses on building and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes that support efficient development workflows. With a strong foundation in software engineering practices, the position plays a key role in enabling teams to build, test, and deploy high-quality code at scale.
What you'll be doing?
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for cloud environments.
- Guide development teams on DevOps best practices and tooling.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources.
- Implement and maintain observability solutions for applications and infrastructure.
- Understand application architecture and how it impacts infrastructure decisions.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Manage containerized environments with Kubernetes and facilitate deployment automation through ArgoCD.
- Configure and maintain API gateways using Kong for microservices architecture
- Automate routine operational processes through scripting and tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide production support.
- Ensure security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
- You have 3+ years of experience in software development using languages like Python, Go, or Java.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Scripting Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI pipeline creation and maintenance
- Container Orchestration: Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts and administration.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform for AWS resource provisioning
- Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns
- GitOps Practices: Experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Has experience on remote working culture and has at least 2 years of experience working within Agile remote teams for “Clients”.
- Good knowledge of software design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Knowledge of agile development methods.
- A passion for clean code.
- Detail oriented and excellent teamwork skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent sense of prioritization and time management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
