GEN AI / ML Engineer

📍 Location: Krakow / Warsaw (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Gen AI / ML Engineer to join our team and lead the development of Document AI and Intelligent Document Processing solutions. The role focuses on building production-ready models using both traditional machine learning and Generative AI (particularly open-source models) to achieve tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build production-ready models for content extraction and classification from images and text-based sources.
• Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design, test, and iterate new and existing products and features.
• Develop Python ML/OCR components and support full lifecycle (deployment, testing, production support).
• Ensure secure and resilient code delivery into production environments.

Must-Have Experience

• Strong expertise in Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing.
• Proven track record in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, Image Processing, and OCR.
• Hands-on production experience with Python.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, SpaCy, OpenCV, Regex (or equivalents).
• Experience delivering secure, production-grade applications and APIs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL for data storage and management.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services, e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure CLI, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps.
