About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Unity Developer to join our team and work on a UI-driven, system-heavy game project. The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of Unity fundamentals and is eager to take responsibility for modular system design while growing with the project.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular, reusable systems (using ScriptableObjects, event-driven/state machines).
- Develop interactive UI features (drag-and-drop, dynamic layouts, custom inspectors).
- Implement inventory, progression, and upgrade systems.
- Contribute to economy mechanics (currencies, pricing, demand/supply balancing).
- Ensure persistence systems (save/load for upgrades, progression, and economy state).
- Optimize performance for simulation-heavy gameplay.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver scalable and polished systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Unity experience (school, indie, or professional projects).
- Ability to build clean, modular, reusable systems.
- Experience with complex interactive UI.
- Knowledge of inventory/progression design and economy systems.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Portfolio with finished Unity projects (even small or academic ones).
Nice to Have
- Experience in simulation, tycoon, or automation-style games.
- Familiarity with procedural content, shaders, particles, or Steam integration.
