Summary: The role of the Release Train Engineer (RTE) is to facilitate and guide the activities of multiple Scrum teams within the Transaction Banking / Payment Data domain, ensuring efficient delivery of projects involving Java microservices, database development, and data warehousing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the release train of 90+ individuals across 7 Scrum teams.
- Coordinate Java microservice development projects.
- Oversee Kafka producers and consumers integration.
- Guide database and data warehouse development using Oracle and Snowflake.
- Implement Power BI and SSAS solutions.
- Focus on compliance and integration of payment standards such as ISO20022.
- 4+ years of experience as a SAFe Release Train Engineer.
- 4+ years of experience in Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in data warehouse and data engineering practices.
- Knowledge in solution architecture for data platforms.
- Software engineering expertise with Java and Python.
- Understanding of Payments & Transaction Banking business.
- Familiarity with ISO20022 standards.
- Experience with Swift technologies.
