As a Senior Front-End Developer at EastsideCo, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually appealing and highly functional websites that provide seamless user experiences. You will work closely with our design and development teams, utilizing your expertise in Shopify development and front-end technologies to translate wireframes and designs into pixel-perfect, responsive websites. Your ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code will be instrumental in delivering exceptional e-commerce solutions that drive conversions and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and project managers to translate wireframes, mockups, and design concepts into fully functional Shopify websites.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Develop custom themes and templates for Shopify, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, optimize website performance, and conduct thorough testing to deliver high-quality deliverables.
• Implement responsive design techniques to create websites that are mobile-friendly and deliver outstanding user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends, techniques, and frameworks, and share your knowledge within the team.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify and address bugs and issues, ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain high coding standards.
• Proactively contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes, workflows, and the overall quality of our deliverables.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on Shopify projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Shopify's Liquid templating language and the ability to develop custom themes and templates.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries, such as Bootstrap, React, or Vue.js.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Salary band for this role is £40,000-£50,000
