Java Backend Developer

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting backend applications, with a strong focus on Java and microservices. You will contribute to system analysis, programming, troubleshooting, and implementation of solutions in coordination with the technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using java and related technologies.
• Build and support microservices-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with business requirements.
• Perform application testing, debugging, and security/vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Provide technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure smooth deployments.
• Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of backend development experience. Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
• Business knowledge of Financial Markets, and Back Office function
• Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role

Minimum technical skills required: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices

Minimum technical skills required: SQL (basic queries, stored procedures)
