The Digital Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and adapting digital assets in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment. The ideal candidate should have experience with designing for digital platform and marketing mediums and be able to deliver on multiple projects.
The role will require the ability to operate on solo projects. They should have the ability to face challenges, since the job frequently working under tight deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet design brief requirements and deliver high-quality work on time
- Conceptualize, design, and deliver a range of digital assets including eDMs, standard and rich media banners, websites, and campaign microsites
- Animate using Adobe Animate CC for HTML5 banner animations
- Conduct quality assurance checks against media specifications, brand, and design guidelines
- Innovate while adhering to client brand standards
- Collaborate with producers on post-production processes as needed
- Explore and apply cutting-edge production techniques and processes
- Foster a positive team atmosphere and build credibility internally and externally
- Prioritize effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage tangible project assets (e.g., hard drives) and oversee the shipping of project elements
- Maintain best practices for version control, file naming, and organization
- Continuously improve knowledge of related post-production software
- Uphold quality control to ensure work meets the highest standards
- Optimize group resources, including equipment and personnel
- Commit to producing high-quality work and continuously developing skills and expertise
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- 3+ years of experience in the digital field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience designing for social media and web (.com) platforms
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices (a plus)
- Understanding of responsive design (a plus)
- Awareness of local language intricacies and constraints (e.g., Thai, English, Malay, Indonesian)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong design and layout skills, including storyboarding for web banners (standard and rich media)
- Familiarity with Sketch and Flinto (nice to have)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to estimate required post-production time accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Effective collaborator in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
