Blockchain Founders Fund (BFF) is an early-stage venture capital fund with a strong focus on blockchain and emerging technologies. We not only invest in promising startups but also work side by side with founders to help them grow, scale, and succeed. Our office is in Singapore, but our team is global - just like our portfolio companies.
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We dislike hierarchies and love initiative. If you thrive in fast-moving startup environments and care about blockchain as much as we do, you’ll enjoy working with us.
- Supporting Portfolio Companies: Partner directly with founders across 160+ companies to tackle strategic and operational challenges. This includes helping with go-to-market planning, business development, fundraising support, financial modeling, board materials, and sharing best practices. Act as a thought partner to founders and connect them with the right people and resources from BFF’s global network.
- Building Scalable Founder Support: Develop playbooks, templates, and processes that portfolio companies can use across hiring, fundraising, product, and strategy. Organize knowledge-sharing and ecosystem-building initiatives that help the entire portfolio benefit from collective experience.
- Industry Trends and Research: Stay close to market developments in Web3 and emerging tech, synthesizing insights into concise updates for our team and portfolio. Translate research into actionable advice for founders navigating fast-changing environments.
- Deal Sourcing and Screening: Participate in industry events, track promising projects, and maintain relationships with founders and investors. Support initial assessments of new opportunities as part of BFF’s investment pipeline.
- Due Diligence & Investment Support: Contribute to diligence on select opportunities, analyzing business models, tokenomics, and teams, and assisting in preparing investment memos. (This is a secondary focus compared to portfolio engagement.)
- Supporting BFF Internally: Assist with fund-level analysis, performance tracking, and ad-hoc projects that strengthen our investment and operations platform.
- 4+ years of work experience in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, or private equity at a top-tier firm.
- Experience working with or investing in blockchain/Web3 is strongly preferred.
- Startup experience or proven ability to support early-stage companies - whether through strategy, operations, fundraising, or product.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; able to build clear and useful tools for founders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable working directly with entrepreneurs.
- Self-starter who can handle ambiguity and drive projects with minimal oversight.
- Fluency in English is required; another language is a plus.
- Outstanding academic record; an MBA from a top institution is valued but not essential.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Industry-leading carry compensation packages from day one.
- Remote-friendly, must have work permit in Singapore.
