Core Responsibilities



  • Collaborate closely with Americas market group Analytics & Insights Partners to develop attribution models, enhance measurement capabilities, and drive algorithmic recommendations for daily, weekly, and annual decision-making.
  • Build automated systems to surface insights related to products, channels, customers, shoppers, and members, driving informed business strategies.
  • Produce deep-dive research, focusing on clear and accessible communication of key data insights on operational and commercial execution.
  • Support and strengthen the data and insights capabilities across the Americas, developing tools and processes for the team and the business to leverage at scale.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, eCommerce) to ensure that data products are translated into strategic actions that drive commercial impact.
  • Measure and report on Key success indicators, ensuring the team’s work is aligned with commercial goals and drives meaningful impact.
  • Collaborate with Global Analytics & Insights partners to systematize and productionize data products and recurring insights generation.

As the Applied Data Scientist, Analytics & Insights for the Americas market group, you will report directly to Head of Americas A&I and collaborate closely with the enablement and digital product teams to enhance data pipelines and models. You will be responsible for leading Americas data product development efforts, finding opportunities, and enabling stronger commercial decisions through data-driven processes.

Do you have what it takes?



  • Proven experience in an analytics or data science role.
  • Strong commercial competence with the ability to translate data into business impact and drive commercial decisions.
  • Proficient with analytics tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, AI, and data visualization platforms like Power BI, Looker or Tableau).
  • Rigorous and structured analytical problem solving skills with deep understanding of how to use data to measure and drive business operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tell data-driven stories and influence key collaborators across senior levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to embed analytics in the decision-making process across multiple departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in consulting, or with top-tier consumer or tech brands would be an advantage!

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $113,015.00 - $169,523.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
