We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the design, maintenance, and optimization of critical ICT systems for world-class sports facilities and venues. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest levels of system reliability and efficiency, particularly during high-stakes mega sports events. You will manage a sophisticated hybrid environment, combining on-premise infrastructure like Dell VxRail and VMware with extensive Azure cloud services. This position involves providing advanced technical support, leading end-to-end infrastructure projects, and applying ITIL best practices for incident and problem management. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining system health, managing capacity, and driving the continuous improvement of our infrastructure to support both event and non-event operations.

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ 8+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.

▸ Expert-level administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, and related Microsoft services.

▸ Hands-on experience managing hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), specifically Dell VxRail and VMware vSphere/vSAN environments.

▸ Proficiency in administering Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, and Entra ID.

▸ Demonstrated experience leading end-to--end infrastructure projects, including RFP creation, vendor evaluation, and system migrations.

▸ Strong understanding and practical application of the ITIL framework, particularly in incident, problem, and change management.

▸ Experience with enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.

▸ Proven ability to manage and secure CCTV and surveillance server infrastructure.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ Previous experience supporting ICT systems for large-scale, time-sensitive events in the sports or entertainment industry.

▸ Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Linux+, or VMware VCP certifications.

▸ Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation.

▸ Familiarity with network virtualization technologies like VMware NSX.

▸ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
