As a Technical Sales Specialist specializing in Data and AI, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge IBM solutions and the business needs of our clients.
Your expertise in both the technical and sales aspects of IBM’s Data and AI portfolio will enable you to craft tailored solutions, provide strategic insights, and drive the successful adoption of IBM technology across diverse industries.
Job Description
- Collaborate with Sales Teams: Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose the most suitable IBM Data and AI solutions.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to deeply understand their business challenges and design solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems.
- Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor by sharing insights into industry trends, best practices, and the latest in IBM Data and AI technology.
- Technical Demonstrations: Lead product demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and workshops to showcase IBM solutions.
- Solution Design & Architecture: Architect IBM Data and AI solutions tailored to client needs and goals.
- Proposal Development: Prepare technical proposals, RFP responses, and presentations aligned with customer objectives.
- Stay Current: Stay updated on IBM Data and AI products, features, and industry developments.
- Partner Ecosystem: Build and maintain an ecosystem of delivery partners specialized in IBM Data and AI.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance on IBM’s portfolio, including cloud services, AI models, data governance, and analytics tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting roles.
- Strong expertise in IBM Data and AI technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build strong client and partner relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
