Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET/C# and Azure cloud services, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Implement and integrate REST APIs with a focus on clean architecture, best practices, and high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, DevOps, QA, and product) to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements.
• Work with Azure components (Service Bus, EventHub, KeyVault, Application Insights, MS SQL Server, CosmosDB, Azure Storage) to build distributed and cloud-native applications.
• Perform code reviews and enforce high coding standards, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize application performance and reliability through monitoring, logging, and proactive troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs, ensuring secure and reliable communication between services.
• Break down complex requirements into smaller deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed systems, APIs, and integrations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and technical decisions.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: You have at least 5 years of relevant, hands-on backend development experience with a current skill set from the last five years. 5-6+ years of working experience in commercial web development.
• Technical Expertise: You have strong proficiency and a solid track record in .NET/C# and with Azure cloud services (Service Bus, EventHub, KeyVault, Application Insights, MS SQL Server, CosmosDB, Azure Storage). You are skilled in creating and consuming REST APIs with a deep understanding of Web API design. Understanding the principles of distributed systems development.
• Code Quality: You have extensive experience in code reviews and a commitment to maintaining high coding standards.
• Problem-Solving: You are proactive and capable of breaking down complex features into smaller, manageable tasks. You have proven experience with external integrations, including interacting with third-party APIs.
• DevOps Skills: You’re comfortable with DevOps practices and have practical experience with CI/CD pipelines. Deep knowledge is not necessary
• Kubernetes: You have hands-on experience with Kubernetes Service (AKS), including deploying and managing applications on it.
• Collaborative Mindset: You excel at working with others and have strong communication skills in both oral and written English.
