We’re working with a global fintech firm that’s looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join their Sydney-based team on a 12-month (or longer) contract. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering a great employee experience across APAC.


About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for HR queries, supporting employees and managers across the region. From onboarding and offboarding to HR systems and reporting, you’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and support broader HR initiatives.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage day-to-day HR coordination across the employee lifecycle
  • Provide support on HR systems, policies, and processes
  • Assist with payroll queries and monthly reporting
  • Collaborate with HRBPs on new initiatives and communications
  • Partner with recruitment, IT, and other teams to streamline operations
  • Spot opportunities to improve how things are done and help make them happen


What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years in a similar HR support or coordination role in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Workday or similar HRIS
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working with people
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for improving processes
