As HR Manufacturing Advisor at JSW Drilling, you will join our team and contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring best-practice HR manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as strategic manufacturing HR partner coordinating between JSW’s Australian head office and Chinese manufacturing partners, including workforce planning, training, talent acquisition and retention.
- Handle complex industrial relations issues involving Chinese partner company staff and local operations.
- Develop cross-cultural training and orientation programs to support seamless collaboration between Australian and Chinese teams.
- Oversee international workplace health and safety systems rollout and integration and participate in company-wide manufacturing risk management.
- Lead and manage most HR functions for the company’s expanding Chinese operations, including local and cross-border recruitment, onboarding, and labor compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies to ensure full compliance with Fair Work Act and Australian labor laws for local and cross-cultural teams.
- International travel and working across different time zones.
Qualifications
- [A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (or equivalent).
- At least 10 years of relevant HR experience in cross-border or multicultural business environment.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin (or Chinese), able to support the company’s manufacturing operation in Australia and China.
- Familiarity with HR management in mining or engineering services is highly advantageous;
- Demonstrated ability to develop HR solutions for evolving international manufacturing partnerships;
- In-depth understanding of Australian and Chinese labor laws, employment standards, and compliance regulations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in multicultural settings.
- Ability to travel internationally at short notice and work across multiple time zones as required.
