Your Role
As People Operations Coordinator, you’ll own the repeatable processes that make onboarding seamless and employee communications consistent. Reporting to the People Ops Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone of a lean team, keeping compliance accurate and culture signals timely.
You’ll:
- Prepare I-9s, run background checks, and maintain ADP records
- Send onboarding emails and manage first-week communications
- Distribute newsletters, surveys, and recognition programs on schedule
- Keep employee portal, templates, and trackers up to date
- Schedule candidate interviews and coordinate recruiting logistics
- Support engagement surveys, reviews, and annual cycles like W-2s
- Escalate issues quickly and improve recurring checklists over time
- 2–3 years in HR, People Ops, or administrative coordination
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP strongly preferred)
- Understanding of payroll basics, compliance forms, and onboarding steps
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with sensitive data
- Comfort working across Google Workspace, Google Forms, and similar tools
- Clear communication and judgment on when to escalate vs. proceed
- Fully remote contractor role (~40 hrs/week)
- $1500-2000/monthly
