Your future Role
- Contribute to an existing team's high standards for quality.
- Support an established company with your expertise in order to move towards a Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Build and work on an extensive linux-based server structure.
- Optimize and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes to streamline our development workflow.
- Design and refine internal tools, enhancing productivity for both yourself and other teams.
- Support in troubleshooting around our infrastructure, ensuring our systems run smoothly.
Your Skills
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development or similarly good understanding of computing concepts (e.g. threading, locks, swap, symmetric/asymmetric cryptography).
- Professional experience operating Linux systems, with bonus points for familiarity with Debian.
- Performance optimization on application and database levels to ensure high efficiency and reliability.
- Experience in operating large scale web applications and with a team-based development approach (merge requests and code reviews).
- Exceedingly accurate and precise in your work, with a strong focus on maintaining high-quality standards, especially in code quality checks.
- Clear and effective documentation skills are necessary, including the ability to write problem-solving protocols and technical documentation.
- A proactive attitude towards learning on the go and a strong intrinsic drive to automate processes for greater efficiency.
- Fluent in English and joy in working in an expert team that values collaboration and open communication.

For this role, we provide a minimum gross annual salary of € 53.802,- (ST1 Regelstufe) in accordance with our IT collective agreement. This applies to a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week and requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as DevOps - Site Reliability Engineer or a related field.
Individual qualifications and experience relevant to the open position will be considered for the salary, and there is a clear willingness to overpay.
