We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resident Engineer with deep expertise in Operational Technology (OT) and Cybersecurity. The selected candidate will be embedded on-site with our client in Austria, acting as a technical liaison and trusted advisor to ensure the successful deployment, operation, and optimization of cybersecurity platforms such as Armis, Nozomi Networks, and Claroty.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site technical expert for OT/Cybersecurity solutions
• Lead deployment, configuration, and operationalization of platforms like Armis, Nozomi, and Claroty
• Conduct health checks, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of deployed solutions
• Collaborate with client teams to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex issues
• Maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and policy configurations
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to client stakeholders
• Stay updated on evolving OT threat landscapes and recommend proactive measures

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in OT/Cybersecurity engineering or consulting
• Hands-on expertise with platforms such as Armis, Nozomi Networks, and Claroty
• Strong understanding of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, DNP3) and ICS/SCADA environments
• Familiarity with network security, endpoint protection, and threat detection in OT environments
• Experience with Linux systems, APIs, and scripting (Python, Bash) is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is a strong advantage
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, CEH) are desirable
