About Bits of Love
Bits of Love is a digital product studio that develops intelligent, intuitive, lightning-fast applications, software, and SaaS platforms. Our customers expect tools and products that simply work: fast, smart, and with a great interface.
That’s why we’re looking for a driven Full-Stack Developer who understands both front-end and back-end, and can help optimize the overall user experience.
We’re not a corporate structure. We work in a lean manner, focusing intensely on quality, and believe in direct collaboration without unnecessary hierarchy. We aim for perfection and deliver software that is robust and bug-free.
At Bits of Love, we set the bar high and have the awards to prove it. At the same time, we value a relaxed, approachable culture with no room for “rockstar” egos. Alongside our commercial projects, we’re committed to making a social impact in healthcare and education through innovation.
Important 💡:
- This role requires regular presence at our offices in Bruges, Belgium.
- Open for junior, mid-level, and senior profiles.
How will you shine?
As a Full-Stack Developer, you work end-to-end on digital products that make businesses smarter and faster. You bridge code and UI, ensuring our applications are both intuitive and powerful.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team, with space to grow and sharpen your skills. We’re not looking for the perfect candidate, but for someone eager to learn, sharp, and pragmatic.
Your responsibilities
- Building (web) applications and SaaS platforms that make a difference for our customers.
- Developing front-end and back-end (React, Node.js, TypeScript, APIs, databases).
- Always put user-friendliness first.
- Grow one or more areas of expertise within your interests.
- Contribute to the architecture and future-proofing of our software.
- Actively shape our technical roadmap.
- Share knowledge during monthly dev meetings.
- Take ownership and lead aspects of our development team or roadmap.
What are we looking for in you?
- Passion for digital products that work simply and quickly.
- A solution-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of front-end, back-end, and UX (or willingness to grow in these areas).
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn within a supportive team.
- A fit with our family-like, informal atmosphere.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, and databases (or ability to learn quickly).
- Familiarity with practices like version control (git), unit testing, documentation, CI, and dependency management.
- A “do good” mentality and drive to create social impact.
- Regular presence at our Bruges office.
A significant advantage, but not an obligation:
- React Native and mobile app experience
- Data analysis skills
- AI engineering or ML/AI background
- Business Analyst skills
Our ideal teammate?
- A pioneering spirit, always seeking to innovate and improve.
- A team player who aims for excellence with a can-do attitude.
- Smart with code: you don’t reinvent the wheel but build on existing brilliance.
- Eager to share knowledge and strengthen both our team and the wider community.
- A natural problem-solver who enjoys finding creative solutions.
- Passionate about open-source, comfortable with low/no-code tools, and motivated to give back to the community.
- A buddy and friend we can take to events and festivals 🎸
What do we offer?
- Innovative projects: Long-term challenges for digital leading clients such as Tomorrowland, Club Brugge, UGent, and many others.
- Flexible environment: Work mainly from our Bruges office, with flexible hours and the option to work from home or our co-working space in Ghent.
- Personal growth: Budget for books, training, and conferences, plus licenses (e.g,. Datacamp) to keep learning.
- Supportive team: You'll be part of a close-knit team that values knowledge sharing and helps you explore new interests, making you feel supported and part of a community.
- Excellent facilities: Latest hardware, and freedom to personalize your setup (custom keyboards, IoT devices, free trials).
- Personal trainer and sports sessions 1 x per week
- Competitive remuneration: We offer an attractive salary, along with additional benefits such as meal vouchers, group insurance, hospitalization insurance, eco vouchers, and all the necessary hardware, ensuring you feel valued and appreciated.
- Tech meetups at our office, internally and externally organised

We’d love to hear your story and learn about your skills.
Please send us:
- Your motivation: why you’d fit in our easy-going but expert team.
