About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer (Full-Stack) to join a strategic project in Brussels. The mission involves working on innovative IT solutions linked to the pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine business. A key focus will be the migration of frameworks (Spring Boot, Angular) towards the latest versions, and contributing to the design and implementation of a scalable microservices architecture.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with a focus on Spring Boot and Angular.
  • Participate in framework migration projects to ensure applications remain modern and secure.
  • Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment, actively participating in ceremonies and team collaboration.
  • Contribute to the architecture and development of microservices-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Ensure software quality and proper documentation through JIRA and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Expertise in Java development (mandatory).
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Angular.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with REST APIs and migration projects.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent use of JIRA for project tracking and issue management.
Languages
  • Dutch: passive knowledge
  • French: passive knowledge
  • English: passive knowledge
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience in projects related to human and veterinary medicines.
