Role Overview
As a Tech Lead, you will drive the technical vision and execution of a new MVP B2B platform for virtual card issuing and management. The architecture will be API-first, serving as a unified gateway for partner integrations. You will define architecture decisions, mentor the development team, and ensure the platform meets business and technical requirements for scalability, security, and reliability.

Role Overview
As a Tech Lead, you will drive the technical vision and execution of a new MVP B2B platform for virtual card issuing and management. The architecture will be API-first, serving as a unified gateway for partner integrations. You will define architecture decisions, mentor the development team, and ensure the platform meets business and technical requirements for scalability, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define system architecture and API design, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Select tools and approaches within the chosen tech stack.
- Decompose tasks for developers, review code, and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide technical input and consultation for business requirements.
- Implement best practices for high-load systems, distributed architectures, and asynchronous data processing.
- Ensure system security and compliance with OWASP standards.
- Write and review key backend modules (API, integrations).
- Mentor developers and foster engineering excellence.
- Contribute to infrastructure design and external system integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers on sprint planning and task estimation.
- 7+ years of commercial development experience with PHP.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture (DDD, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal/Onion).
- Hands-on experience with high-load, distributed systems, and high availability design.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Laravel Octane, Fiber/Echo, gRPC + Protobuf.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK/Loki, Prometheus, Sentry, Jaeger).
- Understanding of security principles for web applications and countermeasures.
- Experience with automated testing, profiling, and code quality practices.
- Familiarity with Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) and remote team collaboration tools.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
