We are looking for a Network Engineer (Data Center & WAN) on behalf of one of our clients, based in the Mannheim – Karlsruhe area. The culture is young, dynamic, and technically excellent – with flat hierarchies, open communication, and a first-name culture.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and operate WAN and Data Center infrastructures
• Design and deploy complex routing & switching environments
• Manage firewalls, load balancers, and VPN solutions
• Support and optimize virtualization and storage solutions
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and tune network performance
• Take ownership of customer projects and deliver independently

What You Bring:

• Completed training or degree in IT/Networking
• Solid experience with WAN technologies, routing (BGP, OSPF, etc.), and switching
• Knowledge in Data Center (virtualization, storage, firewalls, load balancing)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, VMware) are a plus
• Very good German skills (min. B2) and good English skills
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license (Class B)
