Background

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team on an initial 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our marketing and branding efforts while growing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.
Role Summary
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling visual content that aligns with Duggan Veterinary Supplies’ brand and supports its marketing campaigns. From designing digital assets to print materials, you will play a key role in ensuring our visual identity is consistently and creatively represented. This position will suit a newly graduated Graphic Designer.
Key Functions and Activities
· Graphic Design: Create and edit a variety of design materials, including brochures, advertisements, digital banners, social media graphics, and presentations.
· Brand Identity: Assist in maintaining and evolving Duggan Veterinary Supplies’ visual branding guidelines across all channels.
· Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to design assets for campaigns, product launches, and events.
· Content Development: Support the creation of still and video content and motion graphics for digital platforms.
· Project Coordination: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
· Market Research: Stay updated on design trends and competitor branding to bring fresh ideas to projects.
· Feedback Integration: Work with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and refine designs to meet project objectives.
Person Specification
· Qualifications and Skills:
o A degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or in the process of achieving same.
o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro or After Effects).
o Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar design tools is an advantage.
o Strong understanding of typography, layout, and colour theory.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
