This is an exciting opportunity for a resilient and motivated individual who is interested in working with the Offshore Delivery team to realise key projects to enable a green transition.
These projects are critical to Ireland from many aspects including the achievement of our renewable targets and to continuation of sustainable economic growth for the country.
The role involves facilitating the connection of new projects to the transmission system. It involves the project management of technically complex, large-scale infrastructure and internal capability projects – on-time and within budget, adhering to established governance and controls. The role holder will work on projects across their Entire Life Cycle – from concept to completion including Scoping, FID and Go Live,.
The Team are responsible for Driving Innovation, Digital Transformation, And Strategic Technology Delivery across the organisation. It plays a central role in enabling the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through the deployment of modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks. The Offshore Phases that sits within this office, ensuring alignment between technology strategy and offshore programme execution.
About you / Successful candidates will have:
Engineering degree or equivalent, typically with 6-8 years relevant experience with a holistic understanding of the Power Industry, Offshore Industry or similar applicable industry
Proven experience of managing a portfolio of Largescale Projects – overseeing the delivery of complex solutions and an ability to drive successful outcomes
Excellent communicator, able to articulate Technical Concepts and Analysis to non-technical audiences and business leaders
Ability to coach and develop high performance capabilities in a changing and dynamic environment
Expertise in conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions or new ways of doing things to solve business problems, collaborating with business experts along the way
Strong understanding of the requirements of stakeholders and industry for the transmission system and associated developments
Commercial awareness with strong Vendor Management skills.
Previous experience working on projects in the Offshore or Marine environment is desirable.
