Job purpose
Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, the Club Business Analyst will serve as the main point of reference for the development of internal analyses and industry benchmarks, aimed at supporting the Club’s strategic planning and long-term decision making.
The role will be responsible for producing accurate reports and clear dashboards for various stakeholders, with the goal of providing strategic advice to the top management and strengthening the Club’s competitiveness.
Duties and responsibilities
- Create board-ready dashboards and reports on a regular basis for top management and the Board.
- Work closely with internal departments, including Football, Revenue and Finance, to provide insights aimed at supporting business decisions.
- Prepare materials to support Board discussions and decision-making processes.
- Develop internal analyses and comparative benchmarks with major European and Serie A Football clubs, focusing on revenues, costs, and player trading.
- Ensure the quality, integrity, and confidentiality of the information handled.
- Direct interaction with Board and shareholder
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Statistics, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or data/strategy roles.
- Strong financial background (IRR, valuations, ROI) and excellent command of Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau is considered a plus.
- Good understanding of the sport business.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across business functions and all organizational levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Full proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English.
- Integrity and confidentiality as essential requirements.
