We are seeking someone who thrives in full-stack teams, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to be involved in every stage of development - from planning and design to testing and support. Join our international Baltic team on a long-term modernization journey. You will collaborate closely with product owners, analysts, and fellow engineers to build reliable services within a hybrid monolith and microservices architecture. - Develop and maintain customer-facing applications (finance & insurance)
- Work primarily on back-end services in a monolith system, with growing microservices architecture
- Contribute to new product launches, technical upgrades, and bug fixes
- Collaborate within a full-stack product team (Product Owner, BAs, Engineers)
- Participate in the full development lifecycle: analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability across services
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer
- Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot
- Knowing Hibernate, Oracle PL/SQL, or Kotlin is a plus
- Experience using tools like Jenkins or Gradle to build and automate projects
- Some hands-on work with Docker or OpenShift is helpful
- Familiar with working in Agile or Scrum teams
- Extra bonus: Understanding how the insurance industry works
