Data Scientist Junior vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.
Your Tasks
- Clean, organise, and standardise data from diverse sources
- Prepare ready-for-use datasets for economists and researchers
- Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Interpret and manage data in alignment with research objectives
- Strong foundation in data science as a Data Scientist/Research Analyst (could consider a candidate who has only done internships, entry level roles)
- Proficiency in Python or Matlab
- Familiarity with statistical tools and techniques
- Solid understanding of economics and financial markets
- Language skills: English
- Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
- A high degree of self-organisation and time management
- Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
