Your leadership will ensure projects stay on track, impactful, and compliant in a dynamic regulatory landscape.
Key Responsibilities in Advanced Therapies Project Leadership
- Lead ATMP-related projects and programmes, coordinating activities with startup teams and partners
- Guide early-stage companies through the very early development phases
- Support preparation of grant applications, business cases, and investor presentations
- Organise knowledge-sharing events, workshops, and expert matchmaking for the ATMP community
- Stay updated on the latest in ATMP development and be a part of shaping the future
- Work cross-functionally with SmiLe’s expert network in science, business development, and communications
- Champion inclusiveness and knowledge transfer among startups, partners, and research stakeholders
- Academic background (MSc or PhD preferred) in cell/gene therapy, biotechnology, biomedicine, or related field
- Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills
- Confident in engaging diverse stakeholders – from founders and researchers to industry and regulatory bodies
- Digital and data-savvy
- Fluent English and Swedish
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to drive impact in a values-driven team
- Hands-on experience in ATMP or biologics development (industry, academia, or regulatory) is bonus
- Knowledge of GMP, GCP, and European ATMP regulatory requirements
- Experience with startup or innovation ecosystems
- Familiarity with grant writing and public funding processes including reporting (e.g., Horizon Europe, Vinnova)
- Network in the Swedish or European biotech community
