Job description

Design, prototype, develop and maintain application functionality for the iOS platform using Objective C and web platform using php.

Transform the requirements into diagrams & models.

Write source codes and implement the designed software architectures.

Write build script and taking care of dependencies on different libraries and software.

Manage tasks assigned to developers.

Manage deployment and write deployment guidelines to be used.

Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle (design, implement, test, document and deploy).

Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure the mobile functionality meets our targeted users expectations.

Produce quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards.

Provide estimates for assigned development tasks.

Learn and evaluate other new technologies/tools as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills

Solid knowledge of best practices, techniques and methodologies related to software - development, with specific focus on mobile & web platforms.

Solid knowledge of .NET Java .NET WinForm ASP .NET PHP J2ME, Android, iOS, WP7 Entity Framework WCF WF WPF Share Point Portal server PHP based CMS (WordPress Joomla Droopal CushyCMS).

Solid knowledge of SQL Server Oracle Windows Client & Servers Mac OS X Linux.

Solid knowledge of Android SDK Windows Mobile and J2ME / Blackberry RIM SDK.

Solid foundation in best practices for user-interface design for mobile platforms.

Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle and exposure to different agile methodologies.

Development experience on mobile platforms (Android, BB, Win, Symbian) & cross platform development.

Solid understanding of relational databases.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; superior analytical and problem solving skills.

Self-starter with good organization skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
