Vianode is growing fast, and we’re seeking a determined, independent, and structured Senior Project Finance Manager to lead and coordinate workstreams that enable the successful debt financing of our large-scale plants. This is a key role in our corporate finance team, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment alongside leading advisors and internal stakeholders.
You will be at the center of Vianode’s financing efforts, driving collaboration across technical, commercial, legal, tax, and financial domains to ensure our projects are bankable, well-structured, and executed with precision. The role also includes active participation in Vianode’s business development activities, and we’re looking for someone who is genuinely motivated by the challenge of funding and enabling industrial growth. The role reports to VP Project Finance and Commercial Development and is located at Skøyen, Oslo.
- What you’ll do:Lead and coordinate a wide range of workstreams related to the debt financing of large-scale industrial projects
- Manage and align inputs across technical, commercial, E&S, legal and other due diligence workstreams, as well as take a leading role on corporate tax analysis and financial modelling
- Coordinate and support processes related to insurance coverage, supplier and performance guarantees, and internal/group funding mechanisms & structures
- Support the preparation and review of financing materials, including ad-hoc project presentations/teasers, information memorandums, term sheets, and long-form credit agreements
- Ensure timely delivery of financing milestones and documentation in line with lenders expectations and requirements
- Actively contribute to Vianode’s business development and funding activities in both Norway and North America, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as a key interface between internal teams (finance, legal, project development, technical, commercial) and external stakeholders (banks, advisors, insurers)
- Desired qualifications:Master's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or other Finance related subjects
- 2-5 years’ experience, preferably from an international industrial company and/or experience from big 4 audit/transaction advisory firm or banking
- Strong understanding of accounting/finance and financial modelling skills
- Experience with debt financing at asset or corporate level is an advantage - either as an external advisor or working within a company arranging debt financing
- Experience with due diligence processes, financial structuring, and stakeholder coordination
- Familiarity with insurance, guarantees, and intra-group funding structures
- Genuine interest in business development and industrial funding
- Desired personal characteristics:Grit and determination: ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic/uncertain environment over long periods
- Delivery focused: must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Responsible, self-driven, and structured: takes ownership and stays organized
- Strong communication and coordination skills: ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes
