"Take on a new challenge and apply your network engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of on-train network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity for passengers and operators. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Maintenance Solutions, Project Management, and Rail Operators), troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, and manage small-scale projects such as upgrades and testing, and much more."

Could you be the full-time Network Engineer in Oslo, NO we’re looking for?
Your future role

You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of on-train network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity for passengers and operators. We’ll look to you for:
- Supporting Wi-Fi and cellular systems.
- Leveraging your knowledge of LINUX systems to perform technical tasks.
- Installing and maintaining network equipment.
- Documenting work thoroughly and with attention to detail.
- Investigate and repair on-train network infrastructure including router, cellular modems, and access points.
- Onsite trouble shooting and Root Cause analysis.
- Maintain work schedule around vehicle availability, supervised by Maintenance Solutions Manager.
- Assist Project Managers in completing project tasks such as upgrades and testing.
- Managing small projects.
- Onsite troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis.

- Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with LINUX systems.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi and cellular systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferably if you can speak and understand Norwegian.
- Ability to document your work effectively.
- Ability to think proactively in a fast-paced environment.
