Job Title: System Administrator
Job Location: 100% Remote
Job Type: Full -Time/ Contract
This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee patch deployments and remediate failures while ensuring adherence to customer baselines
- Design and maintain global patching frameworks, baselines, and schedules.
- Ensure proper configurations, multi-tenant segmentation, and feature maximization as a senior engineer.
- Monitor alerting thresholds for endpoint health and patch compliance, and detect failed updates promptly
- Automate monitoring and remediation tasks in RMM platforms to enhance consistency and reduce manual effort.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for RMM and patch management tools like N-Able, ConnectWise ASIO, and Microsoft Intune
- Assist in automating compliance reporting for operational reviews.
- Collaborate with NOC and Security Operations to integrate SOPs with vulnerability remediation and incident workflows.
Required Skills & Background
- 4+ years in IT operations or systems administration, with at least 3 years focused on enterprise patch management.
- Proficiency in top-tier toolsets like N-Able and ConnectWise ASIO RMM platforms.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Intune patch orchestration and update rings.
- Strong OS patching expertise (Windows, macOS, Linux) and third-party application patching.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate across global, multi-shift operations teams.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell+Bash required, Python/Ansible/Terraform preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional toolsets such as PDQ, Kaseya VSA or Automox.
- Exposure to vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Defender for Endpoint).
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Helix and/or Jira Service Management) for workflow integration.
