We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of FER-PAL’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing network systems, servers, hardware, and software to support business operations across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, configure, and monitor network hardware, servers, and system infrastructure.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with security policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Oversee system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data protection measures.
  • Implement and maintain IT security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
  • Support the rollout of new applications, upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Monitor performance of IT systems and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Provide end-user support and training where needed.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Network and/or Systems Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Availability to provide occasional after-hours support or on-call assistance.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel to our U.S. offices periodically.


Preferred Assets

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, CCNA).
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS) considered an strong asset.
