Job Description – Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

DAOasis (Sweat Equity Role) - moving to a paid full-time role post funding.

About DAOasis

DAOasis is a luxury wellness and Web3 retreat venture, blending web3 education, digital sovereignty, and holistic living. We are building a first-of-its-kind ecosystem where guests can earn rewards through the DAOasis Retreat Token ($DRT) and continue their growth through the DAOasis Companion App and online community.

We are at the founding stage, bringing together a small group of core contributors on sweat equity terms, with equity and token allocations in place, moving toward feasibility funding and token launch.

Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

As CTO, you will be responsible for all technical architecture, product design, and execution at DAOasis. You’ll sit at the leadership table alongside the Founder, COO, and CMO, owning everything from token design and deployment to building the Companion App, managing our web presence, and setting up scalable systems for community and data.

This is a sweat equity role with significant upside in equity and token allocation, for someone who wants to build at the intersection of wellness, crypto, and community tech.

Key Responsibilities

Tokenomics & Blockchain

• Finalise the design of the DAOasis Retreat Token ($DRT).
• Oversee smart contract development and deployment (Polygon / Ethereum).
• Ensure security, audits, and compliance standards are in place.
• Integrate token into retreat, community, and app systems.

Product Development (DAOasis Companion App)

• Define roadmap and MVP for the Companion App (habit tracking, rewards, education modules, token integration).
• Manage architecture, build, and deployment, including integration with wearables (WHOOP, Oura) and web3 wallets.
• Oversee UX/UI design aligned with brand principles.

Web & Systems

• Lead development of DAOasis website (scalable, token-gated features, member dashboard).
• Implement internal systems for community management (Discord/Telegram bots, CRM, analytics dashboards).
• Ensure robust data and workflow tools across the company stack (Notion, Monday.com, etc.).

Leadership & Strategy

• Translate DAOasis’ vision into a scalable technical roadmap.
• Build and manage a small technical team as we grow (engineers, designers, vendors).
• Advise on broader product strategy, integrations, and partnerships.
• Sit on the leadership team, working closely with CEO, COO, and CMO to drive growth and feasibility.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience leading tech teams or building products at startup stage.
• Strong blockchain engineering skills (Solidity, Polygon/Ethereum deployments).
• Experience with tokenomics, vesting schedules, and smart contract audits.
• Mobile app product management and/or development (React Native or similar).
• Familiarity with crypto integrations: wallets, staking, DAOs, gated access.
• Strong sense of design/UX to align product with brand.
• Ability to work lean, adapt quickly, and deliver with limited resources.

Sweat Equity Package

• Equity stake in DAOasis (senior founder-level allocation).
• Token allocation at TGE with vesting.
• Additional upside based on milestones (token launch, app MVP, retreat launch).
