You’ll be part of our technical team, the backbone of Adapty’s platform. We build systems that process billions of subscription events and must scale seamlessly as we expand globally. Our engineering culture is built around Domain-Driven Design (DDD), clean architecture, and solving hard problems—not routine tasks. If you enjoy tackling high-load challenges, shaping architecture, and building tools developers truly love, this role is for you.
What You Will Do
- Architect and maintain high-performance APIs powering our mobile SDK and dashboards.
- Work with queues and asynchronous processing (Dramatiq, Kafka), applying DDD principles.
- Build secure integrations (OAuth with FB, Google, AppleID) and redesign attribution flows for reliability.
- Enhance error handling and optimize communication with app stores through API-driven solutions.
- Use a modern and powerful stack: Python, Django, DRF, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a strong Python background.
- Expertise in designing APIs that handle high-load, mission-critical traffic.
- Solid hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Django or FastAPI, and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- A proactive mindset: you don’t just solve problems, you anticipate them and propose better ways forward.
- Strong ownership and communication skills—comfortable making trade-offs and defending decisions.
