About The Role
As a Data Analyst operating within our highly efficient contractor team, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive insights and improvements for our off-platform advertising business. Your expertise in SQL, Python, and various data tools will support existing delivery responsibilities, contribute to automating manual workflows, and optimize our data portfolio managed by the Ads CATS team. You will be instrumental in managing audience enablement processes, troubleshooting data issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data projects, develop automation solutions, and influence strategic decisions through data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years) in a relevant business or technical domain
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL, including data manipulation and analysis
- Proficiency in Python programming, including libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, for solving business challenges
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
- Strong collaboration skills, especially in team environments handling large or complex projects
Responsibilities
- Utilize internal tooling to manage daily operations related to building audiences for off-platform advertising campaigns
- Write efficient SQL queries to troubleshoot issues within the Snowflake data warehouse, optimize query performance, and ensure maintainability
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities affecting off-platform audiences
- Collaborate with the core CATS team to research and implement new audience segmentation methodologies
- Execute Shell and Python scripts to automate workflows and fulfill audience enablement tasks
- Support product development teams by performing technical QA on automation tools and frameworks, providing feedback and feature suggestions
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to support data-related initiatives and optimize workflows
