Summary
We are seeking a Junior/Intern DevOps Engineer who is interested in learning and helping to build Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) as well as release deployment pipelines to help manage our growing infrastructure and work on CI/CD processes in a cloud-native AWS Kubernetes based ecosystem.
To be successful in the role, you enjoy working with engineers to create capabilities with a context and guidance. You are a quick learner who is excited about implementing new technologies, an advocate for software craftsmanship, and take full ownership of projects from conception to production. You have strong written and communication skills, have built automation to scale and work well cross functionally with product, product management and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Understand the design and implementation of an automated CI/CD pipelines leveraging one of these tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Artifactory
- Collaborate and engage with development teams to improve the development experience
- Understand the premises around Security, Compliance and Quality gates into deployment pipelines
- Build basic and initial infrastructure as code, drive automated configurations and maintain them
- Ability to learn about the environment and provide basic support for troubleshooting issues related to CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate, build, and automate new solutions centered around release stability and readiness
- 0-3+ years hands-on DevOps experience working on complex cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (eg. Github Actions, Spinnaker)
- 1-3+ years of experience with AWS or GoogleCloud
- 0-3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio)
- 1-3+ years of experience with managing cloud infrastructure as a code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Atlantis, or similar
- Entry level in at least one or more of these programming languages: java, ruby, golang, python, or groovy
- interpersonal and communication skills, capable of communicating and collaborating with others clearly.

The US base hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, education and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
