Foley is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Security Systems Specialist to support our cybersecurity operations. This hybrid role is ideal for someone eager to grow in the field of information security, with hands-on exposure to security monitoring, identity and access management (IAM), compliance audits, and vulnerability remediation. You'll work cross-functionally to strengthen our security posture and ensure audit readiness.

What You'll Do 

  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, supporting integrations between security platforms and workflows.
  • Support identity and access management (IAM), including SSO configurations, user access reviews, and policy refinement.
  • Assist with audit and compliance efforts, including evidence gathering for SOC2 and PCI, and identifying misconfigurations.
  • Contribute to vendor and user management, maintaining compliance documentation and collaborating across teams.
  • Participate in security training and awareness programs, recommending improvements and reviewing training content.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and data protection, including DLP policy development and risk mitigation strategies.

Who you are  

  • Degree or certification in cybersecurity or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and endpoint management tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a growth mindset and adaptability.

Location:   We're looking for someone located in Connecticut or Massachusetts who can occasionally visit our teams in Boston and Hartford.
