About The Role
As the Manager IFEC & Connected Cabin Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in both the structured execution and the product development of cross-functional programmes that transform the inflight passenger experience through technology-enabled innovation. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of new user experiences and features—including identifying use cases, defining requirements, structuring features, overseeing development, and leading testing and validation for personalisation, digital marketplace, passenger journey enhancements, and next-generation entertainment solutions such as LiveTV, streaming, and advanced seatback products across the Qatar Airways fleet.
You will be accountable for product vision, feature definition, project governance, timeline and resource management, end-to-end lifecycle delivery, and post-deployment success measurement. Success in this role requires digital fluency, technical acumen, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder ecosystems across user experience, product, IT, suppliers, data compliance, engineering, and regulatory bodies. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills are essential, particularly in articulating vision and progress to diverse audiences.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Identify and validate new use cases and passenger needs for inflight entertainment, connectivity, and digital experiences.
- Define product requirements, structure features, and develop user stories for new experiences such as personalisation, marketplace, passenger journey enhancements, LiveTV, streaming, and seatback products.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), pilot programmes, and validation activities to ensure new features meet quality, usability, and business objectives.
- Gather and analyse passenger feedback and operational data to inform continuous improvement and future product enhancements.
- Establish and maintain robust programme frameworks for all IFEC and connected cabin transformation initiatives, ensuring structured governance, proactive risk management, and disciplined delivery.
- Support the development and execution of the IFEC and connected cabin strategy and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with Qatar Airways’ customer experience vision, digital transformation, and fleet plans.
- Translate strategic goals into structured programme charters with clear accountability, measurable success criteria, and realistic timelines.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of programme workstreams, ensuring all tasks, timelines, and dependencies are actively monitored and tracked to maintain momentum across aircraft retrofit and enhancement cycles.
- Coordinate across internal departments and external partners to secure timely inputs, approvals, and alignment needed for smooth programme execution and operational readiness.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 7+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in customer-facing technology, product development, or service innovation environments
- Experience in identifying use cases, defining requirements, structuring features, and leading testing/validation for digital products and passenger experiences.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programmes using structured PMO frameworks, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery of technology-enabled initiatives.
- Understanding digital content delivery, entertainment systems, connectivity, and emerging entertainment technologies (e.g., LiveTV, streaming).
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable programme and product plans that align with the airline’s customer experience vision and digital transformation goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment with changing priorities and emerging technologies.
