About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our client's growing team. This is a modern engineering environment: TypeScript, React, Node.js across the stack, with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, and fairness in competitive, real-time applications.

You'll work on platforms that handle high transaction volumes where many users perform actions simultaneously (fantasy sports, payments, and game-like environments). This means tackling challenges around performance, anti-cheat mechanisms, concurrency, and reliability.

We're also an AI-forward company. You should be comfortable using tools like Cursor, Claude, and other AI coding assistants to accelerate development, improve quality, and keep us ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable fullstack applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize APIs and backend services for high-volume, concurrent user interactions.
• Implement robust mechanisms to ensure fairness, prevent cheating, and maintain integrity at scale.
• Integrate secure payments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Leverage AI development tools (Cursor, Claude, etc.) to improve speed, testing, and code quality.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features quickly.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong type safety.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, with an eye for practical adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in fullstack development.
• Expert in TypeScript, React, and Node.js (modern tooling, component-driven UI, APIs).
• Experience building applications that scale, handling high concurrency and real-time events.
• Experience with fairness/security models (e.g., preventing cheating, fraud detection, or validation at scale).
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching strategies, and performance optimization.
• Comfort working with AI coding assistants and integrating AI into workflows.
