Senior Fullstack Engineer – Fully Remote (UK)
Salary: £100k - £130k (potentially more for an outstanding candidate with leadership qualities)
Location: Remote (UK-based) with flexibility to work a few weeks per year overseas

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team of five. You’ll work closely with the Principal Engineer, CTO, and Product Manager, contributing to the development and scaling of the core platform.
This is a senior-level position with responsibility for backend architecture, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating on key technical decisions. The role also offers a clear pathway to grow into a Tech Lead or Head of Engineering position as the company continues to expand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and deploying fullstack applications with React, Angular, Typescript, Tailwind, and Node.js.
- Owning and evolving backend architecture to ensure scalability and performance.
- Partnering with the Principal Engineer, CTO, and Product Manager on technical strategy, product roadmap, and feature delivery.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering best practices and professional growth.
- Collaborating across the product lifecycle – from ideation to release and optimisation.
- Driving high standards in testing, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Typescript, Tailwind, and Node.js.
- Proven background in backend architecture and designing scalable systems.
- Experience working in small, distributed engineering teams.
- Track record of mentoring or leading engineers, with a passion for team development.
- Strong understanding of agile practices, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
- Clear communicator, comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
