Software Engineer, Android Partner Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 5 years of work experience in distributed systems.
  • 5 years of coding experience in Java.
  • 5 years of experience in full-stack web development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in backend/web development.
  • Experience with Angular and Android.
  • Experience with databases.

With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-priority features related to the Athena system (e.g., distributed system, Java).
  • Design and develop tooling for partners to support growth of the Android ecosystem, ensuring healthy operation of systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, non-technical stakeholders and external partners to implement features that secure devices and grow the Android ecosystem.
  • Participate in on-duty and on-call rotations.
