At 1Spatial, we're transforming the world of traffic management with our cutting-edge SaaS solution, 1Streetworks. Our platform automates the creation of comprehensive, compliant traffic management plans in under two minutes, revolutionising an industry that has remained unchanged for decades. As a UI/UX Designer, you'll be at the forefront of this innovation, crafting intuitive interfaces that simplify complex processes for our users.

You will:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Development teams to turn complex requirements into designs which deliver great user experience
  • Contribute to 1Spatial's UI/UX design standards and ensure their consistent application across our products
  • Create and maintain design assets including wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product managers within an Agile environment
  • Develop and uphold design standards and brand guidelines by collaborating with others


Requirements

Required skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in Figma/Adobe XD or similar tools for UI design and prototyping
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of visual design fundamentals (typography, colour theory, layout)
  • Ability to create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Experience working with design systems & component libraries
Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Skilled in applying research and feedback to inform design decisions
  • Experience designing web applications
  • Experience or interest in Geospatial or Map based products
