Are you an aspiring 3D Artist/Animator looking to get into the games industry?
Witcraft Productions is a new, indie game studio looking for a talented Artist and Animator to create art assets for the characters, environments and UI in our debut title - a first-person comedy horror. In this position, you will have a significant voice in the creative process working with the Creative Director to develop the game’s artistic direction. You (and not AI) will be responsible for the entire art pipeline: from modelling; to texturing; to rigging and animating.
While this is a volunteer position, a full-time position is waiting for you after successful launch.
We encourage you to apply if your experience is entry level or have been affected by industry layoffs.
Requirements
- An online portfolio of art and animation that showcases your experience of working with different styles.
- Experience (either professional or hobbyist) of using 3D art and animation tools.
- Experience of exporting 3D art and animations to game engines (especially Unity).
- Ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and work to deadlines.
Desirable (but not required)
- Experience of shaders and post processing.
- Experience working with version control tools (such as GitHub).
- Qualification in art, games, or another relevant field.
Benefits
- Flexible and remote working.
- Your work will be credited, regardless of whether you remain in the team by the end of development.
- Opportunities to develop skills and have significant creative input.
- If the title is successful, a full-time position is waiting for you.
