Job Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Junior DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and reliable software delivery pipelines. In this role, you'll help automate infrastructure, enhance CI/CD processes, and work closely with software, test, and platform teams to ensure fast, consistent, and efficient application delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to build foundational DevOps skills while contributing to meaningful projects in a high-performing, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, setup, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and platform teams to resolve build, deployment, and environment issues.
- Assist with environment provisioning, configuration, and cleanup across development, test, and production stages.
- Maintain DevOps toolchains including CI servers, artifact repositories, and monitoring dashboards.
- Document and maintain technical runbooks, system wikis, and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and support smooth delivery cycles.
- Contribute to secure and compliant deployment practices, including secrets management and access controls.
- Participate in container deployment and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes (desirable).
- Apply patches and updates in coordination with senior DevOps personnel.
- Foundational understanding of DevOps principles and agile methodologies.
- Proficient in version control using Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Exposure to infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Introductory knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Awareness of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Splunk.
- Understanding of basic security practices in DevOps contexts.
- Demonstrates collaborative mindset, problem-solving attitude, and proactive learning.
- Shows accountability, attention to detail, and alignment with company values such as integrity, curiosity, and client focus.
