Join our Group Technology and Security as an AI Engineer to help incorporate modern AI capabilities across our organisation. You’ll be involved in prototyping, building and productionising AI solutions under the guidance of the AI Tech Lead, and helping to ensure what we deliver are robust and reliable.

What role will you play?

As part of our team, you will support the design, implementation, and testing of GenAI and machine learning solutions tailored to a variety of business needs. Working closely alongside senior engineers you will be contributing to the development and maintenance of scalable, reusable AI services and tools, adhering to established patterns and best practices. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to help translate business requirements into technical specifications, and actively participate in code reviews, both learning from feedback and sharing your perspective with peers. Your curiosity will keep you informed about emerging technologies and keen to contribute to team discussions on new approaches, tools, and industry developments.

What You Offer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on production-grade AI solutions
  • Strong programming skills in one of coding languages (Python, Java, Golang, etc.)
  • Experience consuming LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), orchestrating prompts or agentic workflows
  • Familiarity with RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), embedding-based search, MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent2Agent Protocol) and one or more Agentic AI frameworks (e.g. Langchain, LangGraph, AutoGen, OpenAI Agent SDK, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including code versioning, basic testing, and working within cross-functional teams
  • Frontend development experience will be valuable.
