About the Role
Voxfor Lifetime is looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our international team. This is a long-term, full-time remote position where you will take a leading role in building, maintaining, and optimizing advanced WordPress solutions for both our internal products and our clients worldwide.
Responsibilities- Develop, customize, and maintain advanced WordPress themes and plugins.
- Build and optimize WooCommerce stores, including performance tuning and scalability.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services (REST, GraphQL, Cloudflare, Google APIs, etc.).
- Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to implement technical SEO best practices.
- Ensure strong security, speed optimization, and server-side efficiency (Linux, Nginx/Apache, MariaDB/MySQL).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support our hosting clients with custom WordPress solutions.
- 6+ years of proven experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with Elementor, custom post types, and ACF.
- Deep knowledge of WooCommerce (custom checkout, hooks, filters, payment/shipping integration).
- Familiarity with plugin development and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Linux servers (Ubuntu, Almalinux, cPanel/DirectAdmin/WHM).
- Solid understanding of security best practices (firewalls, WAF, Cloudflare).
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) and technical SEO implementation.
- Experience with Docker, Nginx, and server automation.
- Familiarity with AI/automation tools and API-based integrations.
