React developer Antwerp (Freelance)
We are looking for an experienced react developer for one of our customers in Antwerp, within the logistic industry.
What you’ll do
- Develop, test, and maintain front-end applications using React.
- Customise and extend component libraries (e.g., Google Material Design) to fit product needs.
- Collaborate closely with designers and product owners to ensure a strong focus on user experience.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Bring fresh ideas and a creative mindset to both design and technical challenges.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of professional experience as a front-end developer.
- Strong expertise with React.
- Experience customising component libraries such as Material Design.
- A user experience mindset—you care about how things feel, not just how they look.
- Collaborative and social team player who thrives in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Figma is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Comfortable working in Scrum/Agile environments.
- 2-3 days/week you will work in our office in Antwerp.
