As a Java Full Stack Developer, you’ll work across the stack — from back-end services to front-end experiences — turning concepts into high-performance, scalable solutions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape architecture, write clean code, and bring products to life in collaboration with designers, product owners, and other engineers.

Back-End Development

• Build secure, scalable services using Java (17+) and Spring Boot (3+).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
• Apply microservices architecture principles; integrate with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Use Testcontainers, JUnit 5, AssertJ, and Mockito for automated testing.

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive, accessible front-end applications with React 18+ and TypeScript.
• Use Next.js 14+ for server-side rendering and modern app routing.
• Style with Tailwind CSS and document components with Storybook.
• Test UIs with Playwright or Cypress.

Integration & Data

• Work primarily with PostgreSQL, plus MySQL and MongoDB when required.
• Implement caching strategies with Redis.
• Optimize query performance and manage database migrations.

Cloud & DevOps

• Deploy and run services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Use containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
• Integrate with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
• Use Git-based workflows for version control and collaborative development.
• Define infrastructure with Terraform.

Developer Experience & Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and QA engineers in Agile environments.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor to accelerate coding, debugging, and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor juniors, and drive continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java back-end development with Spring Boot.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and experience with React and Next.js.
• Familiar with microservices, containerization, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Skilled in working with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching layers.
• Comfortable with automated testing across the stack (unit, integration, E2E).
• Up to date with modern DevOps practices and cloud service offerings.
• Open to leveraging AI-assisted tools in the development workflow.
• You are fluent in either Dutch or French (mandatory) and English
